Signs of Cancer

Some of the signs of cancer include weight loss; fatigue; depression; difficulty with breathing, eating or swallowing; abnormal swelling; excessive bleeding; persistent sores that won’t heal; a change in pigment or hair color; discharges and odors.

Frequency of Cancer

Cancer is most common in pets over 5 years of age, in un-castrated males and un-spayed females.

External Causes – Prolong exposure to sunlight (in light colored pets); radiation, chemical exposure (secondary cigarette smoke, exhaust fumes); viruses.

Internal Causes – Poor or inadequate nutrition; heredity; poor immunity; hormonal activity.
